Israeli authorities incite against Palestinian school over glorifying martyrs
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Israeli newspaper Israel HaYom reported that the Ministry of Education complained against a Palestinian school in Jerusalem, accusing it of "incitement" and glorifying martyrs.
The newspaper revealed that the Israeli minister of education summoned the principal of Al Fatat Al Laji'a school in occupied Jerusalem to interrogate him.
The ministry claimed that the school asked students to make extra-curricular activities remembering martyrs. Some students made shows and presentations that included Palestinian songs and video footage of martyrs' funerals.
The occupation state has been trying to impose the Israeli curriculum on Palestinian schools in the eastern part of Jerusalem. The occupation state has occupied the eastern part of Jerusalem in 1967 and annexed it later, a move that violates the international law.
Reuters reported on Wednesday, citing an unnamed source, that the US administration is also demanding the ICC shelve investigations of Israeli leaders over the Gaza genocide and end an investigation into war crimes conducted by US troops in Afghanistan.
