Israel won't normalize ties with Turkey until it shatters Hamas activities
'Israel' issued a statement to Turkey on Monday, in which it stated it will not normalize ties with Turkey until it shutters the activities of Hamas in Istanbul, as reported by Ynet.
'Israel' has made this a precondition to returning its ambassador to Ankara.
There has been no ambassador since 2018, when Turkey asked the Israeli ambassador to leave over Israel's attacks against Palestinians in Gaza and Trump administration’s decision to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem from Tel Aviv.
Lately, Turkey has appointed a new ambassador to 'Israel' in line with efforts to normalize ties with 'Israel' and the incoming administration of US President-elect Joe Biden, although it didn't make any official announcement of the appointment.
