Hamas slams UAE for importing Israeli settlement products
Gaza (QNN)- Palestinian group Hamas on Sunday slammed the United Arab Emirates for importing products from illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said in a statement that this move "is tantamount to encouraging Zionist settlement building on the occupied Palestinian lands."
The spokesman added that the UAE-Israel trade deal "gives a push to the displacement policy practiced by the Zionist right wing."
The first commercial shipment of goods from Israeli settlements products to the UAE began on Sunday, Israeli channel 7 reported.
However, there was no immediate comment from Emirati authorities on the report.
The UAE and 'Israel' normalized their relations in September in a move that was followed by Bahrain, Sudan and recently Morocco.
Palestinians condemned the normalization agreements, saying they encouraged Israel's denial of their rights and do not serve the Palestinian cause.
At least seven Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since last night, as Israel continues to violate Trump’s so-called ceasefire agreement — killing hundreds of civilians and blocking desperately needed aid from entering the enclave.
British Health Secretary Wes Streeting privately said in 2025 that Israel was “committing war crimes before our eyes” and carrying out “ethnic cleansing” in the Gaza Strip, and that he supported imposing sanctions on Israel.
