Jeremy Corbyn launches new ‘Peace and Justice’ movement
Former UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn announced on Sunday that he launches a new human rights project to promote social justice and peace in Britain and around the world.
"The aim of the Peace and Justice Project will be to bring people together, for social justice, peace and human rights, in Britain and across the world," Jeremy Corbyn said in a video posted on Twitter.

He continued, "It’s there to create space, hope and opportunity for those campaigning for social justice and a future that works for the many, not the few."
The Peace and Justice Project will kick of with an online event on January 17 that will include Labour peer Christine Blower, Unite union general secretary Len McCluskey and Labour MP Zarah Sultana.
Corbyn is now sitting as an independent MP after suspending from the Labour party after saying the scale of the problem investigated by the EHRC had been "dramatically overstated for political reasons" by opponents and the media.
He has since made a clarifying statement saying it was not his intention to "tolerate antisemitism or belittle concerns about it," and has been readmitted to the party with a warning. However, Starmer has suspended the Labour whip until early next year, requiring Corbyn to make a formal apology.
