Secretary of Fatah in Jerusalem: Any normalizing delegation that visits Al Aqsa will be treated as settlers
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- The Secretary of Fatah in occupied Jerusalem, Shadi Matwar, told QNN that Jerusalemites will treat any normalizing delegation, visiting Al Aqsa mosque under Israeli protection, as settlers.
He added that such visits are totally rejected and Fatah considers them as raids, just like those carried out by settlers' groups, which, should be confronted because they are organized under the protection of the Israeli police, which at the same time attacks Palestinian worshipers.
Matwar also said that such visits are a stab in the back of the Palestinian people and Al Aqsa mosque and "they need to go somewhere else to save their faces."
In the same context, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, the Mufti of Jerusalem, said in a statement that praying at Al Aqsa mosque is not for those, who normalize ties with the occupation state, and that everything in Trump's deal is "invalid and forbidden because it means compromising Jerusalem."
The Mufti added that visiting Al Aqsa mosque should be through the PA or the Jordanian government.
At least seven Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since last night, as Israel continues to violate Trump’s so-called ceasefire agreement — killing hundreds of civilians and blocking desperately needed aid from entering the enclave.
British Health Secretary Wes Streeting privately said in 2025 that Israel was “committing war crimes before our eyes” and carrying out “ethnic cleansing” in the Gaza Strip, and that he supported imposing sanctions on Israel.
