Pictures| 53 Injuries during Israeli raid into Am'ari refugee camp
Ramallah (QNN)- Large numbers of Israeli forces raided the Am'ari refugee camp in Ramallah on Sunday, leaving 53 injuries, including 10 with live bullets and 13 with rubber-coated metal bullets, and several arrests.
QNN correspondent reported that confrontations erupted in the refugee camp in retaliation for the raid.
He added that over 30 military vehicles and dozens of Israeli soldiers raided the camp and broke into the house of Abu Arab family, leading to confrontations and injuries.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said its crews have dealt with 53 injuries, several of them were sent to hospitals.
Israeli forces also arrested the wife and two brothers of the peace activist Ayman Abu Arab in order to push him to turn himself in to the Israeli authorities.
The Israeli army also closed all roads to the camp and prevented vehicles of Palestinians from moving in the area after more forces were deployed.
