Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces opened fire at locals in the northwest of Jerusalem on Friday, wounding one Palestinian young man and causing others to suffocate with poisonous tear gas. Local sources told QNN that Israeli forces opened fire at the 20-year-old young man while he was close to the apartheid wall in the village of Qatanna. The sources stated that the young man was evacuated to a hospital in Ramallah after being shot in his thigh. His condition is stable. In Issawiyyeh, the Israeli police attacked a Palestinian young man and brutally beat him at the eastern entry to the village before arresting him. The Coordinator of the popular resistance in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Ishtewi, said that the Israeli soldiers stormed the village and used poisonous tear gas and live rounds, leaving ten suffocation cases. Ishtewi added that the Israeli occupation army has been unprecedentedly escalating its assaults against the weekly protest, using live bullets and vandalizing the locals' houses and properties.
