'Israel' sentences Palestinian child to 16 months in jail
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- An Israeli court on Tuesday sentenced a Palestinian child from Jerusalem to 16 months in jail.
The head of the Committee of Jerusalemite Prisoners' Families, Amjad Abu Asab, said that the Israeli Magistrate court has sentenced Muhannad Abu Asab (16 years old), from Issawiyyeh in occupied Jerusalem, to 16 months in jail.
He told QNN that the occupation state claims that he took part in several activities in his village in addition to stone-throwing at Israeli soldiers.
He added that the court also imposed a penalty, estimated at 5,000 Shekel, on the child, who has been held in Damon jail since December 25, 2019.
'Israel' hold nearly 200 Palestinian children in its jails, many of them were held without charges or trials.
