Jerusalem.. Israeli authorities force another family to demolish its house
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli authorities forced Ammar Nassar and his family to demolish their house in Jabal Al Mukabbir in southern Jerusalem, claiming that it was built without permission, according to Wadi Hilweh Information Center.
The center said in a statement issued on Friday that Nassar family has been living in its house for eight years. The house at 60 square meters, used to shelter six members including four children.
Maher Nassar said that crews of the Israeli municipality broke into the house of his brother Ammar and ordered him to demolish his house. They gave him until next Tuesday to demolish it or he will pay very heavy fines.
The Israelis have previously ordered the brothers Maher and Muhammad Nassar to demolish their houses. Yesterday, they showed up to make sure that the brothers demolished their houses before ordering the third brother, Ammar, to demolish his house as well.
The Israeli municipality prevents native Palestinians from building new houses or restoring old ones in Jerusalem, while it increases settlement in the holy city and the West Bank.
