Palestinian researcher wins best clinical research presentation
Nablus (QNN)- The Palestinian researcher, Nimer Adeeb, won the best clinical research presentation in Louisiana Neurosurgical Society's (LANS) 44th Annual Meeting.
Nimer Adeeb Abu Shhab, who is a Neurosurgery resident in the United States, has been working on his research on post-surgical blood thinners, which are usually used before surgeries related to Brain aneurysm.
The findings of his research led to major changes in the treatment methods of this problem in the United States and Canada, especially after publishing the research in Stroke Magazine.
Abu Shhab had his bachelor degree in Medicine from Al Najah national university in the occupied West Bank.
The research has already won the best research in the Annual meeting of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) last year.
