Protesting Israel’s 35-day isolation, Palestinian detainee enters 5th day of hunger strike
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Palestinian detainee in Israeli prisons, Khalil Musbah, has been on an open-ended hunger strike for the 5th day in a row.
His move comes in protest against Israel’s holding of him in solitary confinement.
‘Israel’ has been holding Musbah in solitary confinement for 35 consecutive days.
Last month, Israeli prison guards brutally assaulted and beat up Musbah in Megiddo prison.
Musbah is suffering chronic health problems in the stomach, intestines and blood vessels.
He has been in prison since 2003, and is serving a 20-year prison sentence.
Musbah is a resident of the Jenin refugee camp.
‘Israel’ has moved Musbah to the Asqalan prison in the aftermath of the attack, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
The PPS has held ‘Israel’ full responsibility for any deterioration in the health condition of Musbah.
