Prisoner to live with “high degree of disability” after Israeli soldiers shot him during arrest
Jenin (QNN)- The Committee of Prisoners and Former Prisoners said that Nooriddin Bitawi got out of the ICU in Al Affooleh hospital, where he has been held in a critical condition after being shot by Israeli soldiers during his arrest.
The committee added that Bitawwi has a “high degree of disability”, and that he underwent a bowel resections surgery.
It also added in a statement that the Israeli court decided to extend the arrest of Bitai for four days although his lawyer demanded to release him due to his dangerous condition.
The Israeli army had arrested Bitawi after shooting him with live bullets in his abdomen at his house in Jenin.
