Los Angeles (QNN)- Pro-Israel Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said that the ADL was working with the FBI and actively monitoring people online. He listed out what online activity they were monitoring, as well as what he referred to as the "extremists" they were monitoring, including pro-Palestine and anti-genocide activists.
During a Sinai Temple event with Rabbi David Wolpe on Saturday, Greenblatt said every anti-Semitism complaint filed with the ADL is now immediately scanned by their "AI systems" to see if there's a "litigation opportunity" they can forward to their network of some "50,000 lawyers."
Greenblatt told a gathering at a synagogue in LA: "We've assembled 50 of the top law firms in the US to create a pro bono coterie of literally like 50,000 lawyers."
"And so now when you enter an incident at ADL, it instantly gets evaluated by our AI systems. Is there a litigation opportunity? And we feed it to the lawyers to evaluate and to find someone to take the case."
Greenblatt said they are monitoring Americans who are anti-Israel and anit-Jewish. "I have 40 analysts working full-time 7 days a week, 24 hours a day monitoring extremists. We monitor them online, social media, messing apps, video games, crypto currency, podcast, wikipedia, LLMS..”
“We are monitoring left wing radicals, pro-Palestine, Christian Nationals and right wing radicals.”
"We monitor these people, and we share the intelligence with the FBI."

He also said the ADL is "working with OpenAI, with Alphabet, with Anthropic, with Meta, with Microsoft" to "train" their LLMs (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.).
"Heck, we're in conversations with Alibaba to train their LLM." The ADL's also "investing in Wikipedia."
He also said that he was working with Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) “to take down Tucker Carlson” and other critics of Israel on the right.

He continued, “Nick Fuentes is disgusting, Tucker Carlson is disgusting, Candace Owens is disgusting, and so on, but there have been good people like Ted Cruz and Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin [and] Speaker Johnson pushing back on these revolting lunatics.”
The ADL has long been denounced by pro-Palestinian groups for describing Palestinian rights movements as antisemitic. The organisation has also, in the past, worked with US law enforcement to spy on and target Arab-American groups and has facilitated and funded US police training trips to Israel.
Recently, the ADL said it plans to track and monitor the policies and personnel appointments of New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani.
In 2020, more than 100 human rights groups signed an open letter asking progressive organisations to stop working with the ADL.
The ADL has also denounced Black rights organisations including the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL). In 2016, not long after the founding of the Black Lives Matter movement, Greenblatt published a letter in New York Jewish Week highlighting and condemning the movement's solidarity work with Palestinian activists.
The ADL has also advised police forces to plant undercover agents within anti-racist demonstrations to use surveillance footage to prosecute protesters.
