Experts: Israel Deliberately Struck Nasser Hospital with Guided Spike Missile

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Evidence and expert analysis indicate that Israel deliberately targeted Nasser Hospital with a guided Spike missile. The Israeli army’s claim that the strike was a “mistake” appears false.

Weapons expert Dheifallah Al-Dabboubi told Quds News Network that the missile caused unusually heavy damage. He explained that Israel usually uses cluster bombs for maximum destruction. But this strike relied on a “fire and forget” Spike missile, which locks onto a target and hits with precision.

“These missiles shatter into many fragments, like cluster bombs,” Al-Dabboubi said. “They can pierce fortifications, trenches, or tanks. Israel has used them in Gaza before, but this time the target was a hospital.”

Analysis suggests the missile was fired from a tank just three kilometres away to ensure deadly accuracy.

An Israeli soldier posted an Instagram story showing the Spike system and a video of the strike, captioned: “die motherfucker, die.” The post reinforces that the strike was intentional, not accidental.

The Hind Rajab Foundation also reviewed the footage. “The missile followed a direct trajectory from the northwest, consistent with guided Spike NLOS systems,” the group said.

They explained that Spike NLOS is man-in-the-loop. The operator sees and designates the target before impact. “The IDF therefore knew they were hitting medics, civil defense teams, and journalists. This was a deliberate double-tap war crime,” the foundation said.

A detailed technical report is being finalised for a legal case against those responsible.

Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Netanyahu, had claimed that the strike was an accident. They claimed the army does not target journalists and opened an “investigation.”

But the missile type, trajectory, and soldier’s video prove otherwise. The strike on Nasser Hospital was deliberate.
