Israel Strikes Yemen, Houthis Launch Retaliatory Attack
Sanaa (Quds News Network)- The Israeli military has bombed three ports and a power plant in Yemen, Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, prompting the Houthis to fire more missiles towards Israel in protest against the genocide in Gaza.
The Israeli military said that it struck the ports of Hodeidah, Ras-Isa and as-Salif on the Red Sea coast as well as the Ras Kathib power plant late on Sunday. It also said it struck a radar system on the Galaxy Leader ship, which was seized by the Houthis and remains docked in the port of Hodeidah.
No casualties were reported.
The Israeli attacks came after the military claimed that it intercepted a missile fired by the Houthis in the early hours of the day. The Houthis responded to the latest Israeli attacks by launching more missiles at Israel in the early hours of Monday.
