Bethlehem (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday morning demolished three Palestinian-owned houses in the village of al-Walaja, west of Bethlehem city in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources said that Israeli forces escorted bulldozers into the Ein Jwaizah area, north of the al-Walaja village earlier today, after storming it, and started demolishing three houses owned by three members of the Palestinian family of Abu al-Tin.
The forces also attacked Palestinian residents of the area while demolishing the houses, injuring at least two.
Israeli occupation constantly demolishes structures and houses of Palestinians, claiming they were built without a permit, rarely, if ever, issued for Palestinians.
It does not allow any development there while using the occupied land for its illegal settlement activity.
There are nearly 700,000 Israeli settlers living in 256 illegal settlements and outposts scattered across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem. Israeli settlements are illegal under international law.
