Doha (QNN)- As the Qatar World Cup kicks off on 20 November and is a hugely anticipated event for most Arabs in the region, Qatari and Arab crowds have decided to express solidarity with the Palestinians at the world’s most celebrated sporting event.
The Qatari and Arab fans have been seen raising and donning flags of Palestine in the streets of Qatar ahead of the event.

An online campaign called “A Palestinian Dream” has been launched with the aim of introducing the world to the Palestinian cause during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
The campaign called on the Arab masses attending the matches and the accompanying events to raise the flag of Palestine, and to chant for Palestine in the stands and squares and when the fans of the teams gather.
The campaign was widely popular on social media in Arab countries, and activists called to participate in the campaign and interact with the hashtags “a Palestinian dream” and “Why not.”
The “Qatar Youth Group Against Normalization”said in a statement that this is a chance to draw attention to the Palestinian cause on an international stage.
