Gaza (Quds News Network)- Displaced Palestinians in Gaza are returning to their homes despite the massive destruction left by 15 months of Israeli bombardment, following the ceasefire that took effect on Sunday morning. For the first time since May, when the Israeli military invaded Rafah, Palestinians are able to return to their homes. Many have found their houses reduced to rubble, with the extent of the destruction overwhelming. They were displaced in Khan Younis and central Gaza.

In northern Gaza, people are also returning to their homes after being forcibly displaced to Gaza City.
