PFLP Slams GHF as “Colonial Scheme” to Control and Displace Palestinians in Gaza
Gaza (quds News Network)- The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) warned on Sunday that the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) is part of a US-Israeli plan to dominate Gaza under the guise of humanitarian aid.
In a press statement, the PFLP described GHF as a “suspicious colonial mechanism” designed to sideline the United Nations, legitimize Israel’s military presence, and undermine international aid institutions. The plan, it said, seeks to displace Palestinians, fragment their society, and control aid flows through private security companies run by former military and intelligence officers.
“This plan aims to spread chaos in Gaza,” the statement said. “It seeks to restructure Palestinian society to serve Israeli interests — especially by linking aid to military control and using it as a tool of blackmail and collective punishment.”
The PFLP also pointed to organized looting and chaos in some parts of Gaza, saying these incidents are not random but part of a deliberate strategy. According to the resistance group, such events are meant to delegitimize UN agencies, stir public mistrust, and justify Israel’s deeper involvement in civilian life.
The group stressed that managing aid in Gaza must remain the exclusive responsibility of the United Nations, particularly UNRWA, and other reputable international organizations. It rejected any role for private contractors or security firms linked to Israeli interests.
“We call on the international community and UN bodies to reject this project,” the PFLP stated. “Aid must not become a tool of political or military dominance. It is a human right — not a weapon.”
The PFLP’s warning comes as scrutiny over GHF continues to grow. On Friday, Swiss-based legal group TRIAL International submitted complaints demanding an investigation into GHF’s operations and legality. A Haaretz report earlier today revealed that Israeli businessmen and former intelligence figures are behind the GHF, which is registered in Geneva and promoted by the US and Israel as an alternative to UN-led aid.
