Pelosi starts formal Trump impeachment inquiry
Washington (QNN)- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Tuesday that Democrats were moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.
The actions of the Trump presidency revealed the dishonorable fact of the president’s betrayal of his oath of office, betrayal of our national security, and betrayal of the integrity of our elections,” Pelosi said in a scathing statement at the Capitol late Tuesday afternoon. “Therefore, today I’m announcing the House of Representatives is moving forward with an official impeachment.

Trump tweeted as soon as Pelosi finished, saying, “They never even saw the transcript of the call,” referring to the phone conversation he had July 25 with Ukraine’s president that is the focus of the latest impeachment controversy.
