Parents of wounded Israeli sniper blame IOF commander for not killing more Palestinians in Gaza
"You should have stopped them much earlier", the parents of the Israeli sniper said addressing the commander of the IOF Southern Command.

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The parents of an Israeli sniper, who was seriously wounded while repressing protesters in Gaza against the Israeli siege last Saturday, blamed the commander of the Israeli army’s Southern Command for not shooting at the protesters before they reached the separation wall on the borders between Gaza and 1948-occupied territories, reported Israeli Seventh channel.
The Israeli channel reported that the Israeli commander on Tuesday visited Barel Hadarya Shmueli, the wounded sniper.
“It cannot be that the rioters were able to reach Barel, you should have stopped them much earlier. Take off your uniform”, the parents told the commander.
On Saturday, thousands of Palestinians in Gaza protested marking the 53 anniversary of Al Aqsa mosque arson and demanding to end the Israeli siege on the heavy-populated enclave, which has been affecting all aspects of life in Gaza.
The protest was peaceful until Israeli snipers started shooting at protesters wounding at least 50 of them including ten children. Protesters reached the separation wall and started hitting Israeli rifles, coming out from holes in the wall, using sticks and stones before a young man used a pistol to shoot at a sniper, who has been identified later on as Barel Hadarya Shmueli.
