Palestinians march in celebration of Gilbou prison break

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- People from all over occupied Palestine celebrated yesterday the escape of the six Palestinian political prisoners from Israel’s Gilbou prison as they gained their freedom through a tunnel they had dug.

In the besieged Gaza Strip, Gazans distributed sweets all over the strip and held a vigil to celebrate the brave and heroic act of the six Palestinian prisoners. Mosques in the Gaza Strip were also heard celebrating the incident and praying for the prisoners’ safety.

In Jenin, Palestinians were marching while chanting “Allah is Greater”, “We sacrifice our soul and blood for you, our heros [the six prisoners]” and the names of the six prisoners.

In Ramallah, Palestinians in the streets were also distributing sweets and candies to the residents.

In Nablus, residents of the Beita village, which becomes a site of weekly protests against the Israeli occupation and settlement construction, were also celebrating the heroic incident during the night confusion activities.

In Hebron, Palestinains were marching in the streets while calling to free all the prisoners held in the Israeli jails and chanting “Freedom is inevitable” and “Loving our great prisoners is divine.”

Six Palestinian political prisoners on Monday managed to free themselves from Israel’s Gilbou prison, a high-security Israeli prison, through a secret tunnel they had reportedly dug beneath the prison.

According to Israeli reports, the six were imprisoned in the Gilbou prison, shared a cell, and tunnelled out of it in the northern occupied Palestine.

The prisoners are: Zakaria Zubeidi, Mahmoud Aardiya, Muhammed Aardiya, Yakub Kadari, Iham Kamagi, and Mondal Ainfaat.
