Palestinian youth shot dead by Israeli gunfire near Ramallah
Ramallah (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian youth on Thursday evening near the town of Aboud, northwest of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
The Palestinian health ministry confirmed that 16-year-old Dia’a al-Rimawi, a resident of the nearby town of Beit Rima, was shot and killed on Thursday evening by Israeli occupation gunfire in the town of Aboud where another three youths were injured, one of them was arrested by the forces despite his critical condition as he was moved to an Israeli hospital.
Dia’a is the 52nd Palestinian child killed in 2022 by Israeli forces.

Earlier that day, three Palestinian men were assassinated in cold blood by Israeli soldiers during a brutal assault on the Jenin refugee camp. The three are Sudqi Zakarneh, 29, from the city of Jenin, Tareq al-Damj, 29, from Jenin refugee camp, and Ata Shalabi, 46, from Qabatya, near Jenin.
The killings come amid high tensions on the ground as Israeli forces and settlers have escalated their attacks and crackdown against Palestinians.
Since the start of 2022, Israeli occupation forces have killed 217 Palestinians, including 165 in the occupied West Bank and 52 in the Gaza Strip.
