Palestinian youth shot dead by Israeli forces in Jerusalem
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a Palestinian youth in the vicinity of Bab al-Majlis area in the Old City in occupied Jerusalem on Thursday morning.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a 20-year-old Palestinian man, identifed as Amer Halabiyeh, in the vicinity of Bab al-Majlis area, before killing him, over allegedly trying to carry out a stabbing operation against Israeli soldiers.
Halabiyeh is reportedly an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in Birzeit University and a resident of the Beit Hanina neighborhood.
Halabiyeh is the third Palestinian to be shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces in the occupied city of Jerusalem in the last 24 hours.
42-year-old Palestinian Dawood Rayan, a resident of the town of Beit Duqqu, was shot in the heart and killed by Israeli occupation forces this morning during a military raind into the town.
Yesterday, 54-year-old Palestinian Habbas Abdul Hafeez Rayan, from Beit Duqqu, was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces near a military checkpoint at the entrance of the Beit Ur city, near the illegal settlement of Modi’in, over allegedly attempting to carry out a ramming and stabbing operation against soldiers manning the checkpoint.
