Palestinian teen dies of wounds sustained by Israeli forces

Ramallah (QNN) – A Palestinian teenager identified as Omar Awni Younes, 20, died yesterday at the Israeli hospital of Beilinson from wounds he sustained last week, when he was shot and critically injured by Israeli forces near Nablus in the occupied West Bank, the Ministry of Health said.
Younes, who hails from the village of Sanniriya in the West Bank, was shot dead by Israeli soldiers on April 20 at Za’tara military checkpoint, on Nablus-Ramallah road, allegedly after he attempted to stab some of the soldiers with a knife.
He had been receiving medical treatment at the said hospital until he was announced dead of his critical wounds today.
Israeli occupation forces have a long record of executing Palestinian civilians and going unpunished using the pretext of “failed stabbing attack”.
