Palestinian PM says government to reconsider signed agreements with Israel
Ramallah (QNN) – Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said yesterday that the Central Council and the National Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization, the Palestinian parliament in exile, will be reconsidering the agreements signed with Israel.
Speaking during a Ramadan iftar (breakfast) feast in Hebron, south of the West Bank, he said, “We in the National and Central councils will reconsider all the agreements signed with Israel. We cannot continue to recognize Israel while it does not recognize us.”
“Israel is waging a war of narrative; it wants to falsify our narrative about Al-Aqsa and the Christian narrative about the church so that only the Jewish narrative will dominate. Whatever Israel does, it will not falsify history because we are deeply rooted in this land,” he continued.
Shtayyeh called on the Palestinians living in the diaspora to invest in their homeland and said his government was ready to facilitate any future investments inside the country.
