Palestinian photojournalist wins 2 international awards for Gaza coverage

Gaza (QNN)- Palestinian photojournalist Mustafa Hassouna has won two international awards (“ND AWARDS” and “IPA”, for his coverage of the recent Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Hassouna, who works for the Anadolu Agency (AA), won both awards for covering the destruction left by the Israeli attack on the besieged enclave and the daily life of its people.
Hassouna told the AA that he took part in the competitions with photos “showing the scale of destruction during the latest Israeli aggression and the murder of children, the targeting of civilian residential towers and houses, and the suffering that the people have been going through.”
He added that his participation is part of Palestinian journalists’ efforts to “bring the cause to the surface and convey the message and the true narrative regarding what is going on in the occupied territories.”
Last May, the Israeli army carried out 11-day-long aggression on Gaza, murdering and wounding thousands of Palestinians, mostly civilians.
