Palestinian Nurse Killed When Airdropped Aid Box Falls Directly on Him in Gaza
Gaza (Quds News Network)- A Palestinian nurse was tragically killed on Monday when an airdropped aid box fell directly on him. Several aid organizations have warned that airdrops in Gaza are inefficient and can kill starving civilians.
Odai Nafez Quraan, a nurse at Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza, was killed after an aid box fell directly on him in Al-Zawaida town, local and medical sources confirmed.
A recent video shows the nurse condemning the airdrops over Gaza, stating that they are insufficient for the two million people who have been starving for months due to the Israeli blockade. He said the airdrops are “humiliating.”
The number of amputees in Gaza Strip, already between 5,000 and 6,000, is expected to rise as Israel continues to restrict the entry of much-needed aid, including medical supplies, into the war-torn enclave, a humanitarian organization has warned. The alert comes after two years of genocide and despite the so-called US-backed ceasefire.
