Palestinian man wounded with Israeli fire at Qalandya military checkpoint

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli forces on Monday opened fire at a Palestinian man at Qalandya military checkpoint in northern Jerusalem.

Witnesses revealed that Israeli soldiers opened fire at the young man, whose identity and conditions are still unknown.

After the shooting, Israeli soldiers closed the checkpoint for Palestinian vehicles.

Israeli channel 12 said Israeli soldiers opened fire at a 50-year-old man, claiming that they thought that he was carrying a knife before finding out that he wasn’t.

The channel added that he was wounded in his legs and sent to a hospital.
