Palestinian man shot, killed by Israeli forces near Ramallah
Ramallah (QNN)- A Palestinian man was shot and killed on Wednesday morning by Israeli occupation forces at the entrance of the village of Beit Ur, west of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.
The Health Ministry confirmed that Palestinian Habbas Abdul Hafeez Rayan, a 54-year-old resident of the town of Beit Duqqu, was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces this morning near a military checkpoint at the entrance of the Beit Ur city, near the illegal settlement of Modi'in, over allegedly attempting to carry out a ramming and stabbing operation against soldiers manning the checkpoint.

He is reportedly the father of Qusai Rayan, a Palestinian detainee in Israeli prisons.
Last month, Israeli occupation forces killed at least 29 Palestinians in the West Bank, making October the deadliest month there so far in what the United Nations' humanitarian office said on Tuesday was on course to be the "deadliest year" since it started counting fatalities across the occupied Palestinian territories in 2005, as Israeli forces and settlers have killed 131 Palestinians in the West Bank in 2022.
