Palestinian man arrested, tortured to death by Israeli soldiers in Jenin
Jenin (Quds News Network)- Palestinian man killed by Israeli forces during the ongoing assault on the occupied West Bank city of Jenin was handed over with "torture marks" found on his body.
Ayman Rajeh Abed, 55, was killed by Israeli forces after they stormed his home in the Kufr Dan town, northwest of Jenin and arrested him at dawn on Monday. He was transferred to the Salem military checkpoint, where he was subjected to torture, which led to his killing.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said they received his body on Monday from Israeli occupation authorities. The body was transferred to a local hospital after signs of torture were found on it, they added.
Wisam Bakr, the director of the Jenin Governmental Hospital, also known as the Khalil Suleiman Hospital, told reporters that Abed's body arrived handcuffed with marks in different parts indicating he was beaten before his death.
Ayman’s brother confirmed that he did not suffer from serious illnesses or health problems, and that he was detained in good health, local sources reported.
