Palestinian filmmakers call on colleagues to boycott institutions that cooperate with ‘Israel’

Occupied Palestine (QNN)-Palestinian filmmakers called on colleagues throughout the Arab world and the United Arab Emirates to boycott any institution that cooperates with Israeli bodies.
The filmmakers stressed that “the Palestinian film industry was and still a part of the Arabic film industry, which has been its main reference, and always sought to cooperate with Arab colleagues in order to develop it.”
“We have been negatively affected by colonization and occupation but we have been able to overcome this reality and produce professional and valuable accomplishments although of the limited sources”, they added.
The also noted that “a film institution in Abu Dhabi has signed an agreement with the occupation state”, stressing that “the agreement legitimizes the occupiers instead of cooperating with Arabic and Palestinian filmmakers.”
Dozens of Arab and Palestinian intellectuals had announced boycotting several events in the UAE in protest against the country’s normalization deal with the occupation state of Israel.
