Palestinian detainee in Israeli prisons starts hunger strike

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Palestinian detainee in Israeli prisons Emad Fahel has been on an open-ended hunger strike for 5 consecutive days in protest against his solitary confinement by the Israeli occupation.
The Commission of Detainees’ Affairs said that Palestinian detainee Imad Fahel has been on an open-ended hunger strike for the fifth day in a row, protesting against his solitary confinement by the Israeli occupation authorities and calling them to move him to the Naqab prison.
Fahel is now held in harsh conditions in Israel’s Ayalon Prison, which is part of the Ramleh Prison and one of its sections is exclusively reserved for isolation.
Fahel, a resident of the village of Kobar in Ramallah, was first arrested by the Israeli occupation in 2012 and sentenced to 26 years in prison.
