Palestinian boy shot, killed by Israeli forces in Qalqilya

Qalqilya (QNN)- A Palestinian boy was fatally shot by Israeli occupation forces on Friday afternoon in the northern occupied West Bank city of Qalqilya.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that 16-year-old Palestinian Amir Mamoun Odeh was seriously shot in the chest with a live bullet fired by Israeli occupation soldiers during confrontations at the northern entrance to the city of Qalqilya.
Odeh was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.

This afternoon, well-armed Israeli forces quelled an anti-settlement protest in Kafr Qaddum town, east of Qalqilya, according to local sources.
The forces opened fire towards the participants in the weekly Friday anti-settlement protest, injuring three with live bullets while dozens others suffocated from inhaling gas.
Since the start of 2023, 80 Palestinians, including 15 children and an elderly woman, have been killed by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Health.
Odeh is the 15th Palestinian child killed by Israeli forces so far in 2023.
