Pakistan’s PM at UNGA: We call on ‘Israel’ to stop blatant use of force against Palestinians
New York (QNN)- Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif called on Israeli occupation to put an immediate end to the “blatant use of force” against the Palestinian people on Friday at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
In his address to the General Assembly, Pakistan’s Prime Minister said, “We call on ‘Israel’ to put an immediate end to the blatant use of force and flagrant violations of human rights of the Palestinian people and the repeated desecration of the Holy Al Aqsa mosque,” calling for the “acceptance of a viable, independent and continuous Palestinian state with the pre-1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif [Jerusalem] as its capital.”
Pakistan has a long history of supporting the Palestinian cause for a free and independent state.
