PA removes mention of agreements with ‘Israel’ from curriculum

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Palestinian Authority has removed texts on the agreements signed with the occupation state of Israel from its curriculum in the schools of occupied West Bank, Gaza, occupied Jerusalem, and refugee camps.

Texts on all agreements were removed, keeping only those on the 1993 Oslo Accords. but even those are mentioned less favorably and in less detail than in earlier versions of the textbooks.

Yedioth Ahronoth revealed that the new textbooks have far fewer references to ‘Israel’ by name in the curriculum, instead there are references to “Zionist Occupation”; “The Occupation”; “Israeli Occupation”; “The Zionists”; and “The Zionist Entity.”
