Over 5,260 Palestinian students killed, 8,985 injured since start of Israeli aggression on Gaza

Ramallah (Quds News Network) – The Palestinian Ministry of Education said today that 5,260 Palestinian students have been killed and 8,985 others injured since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank on October 7th of last year.
The Ministry said in a statement that the number of students who were killed in the Gaza Strip since the beginning of the aggression reached to 5,213, with 8,691 others injured, while in the West Bank, 47 students were killed and 294 others were injured by Israeli forces during the same period.
It pointed out that 251 teachers and administrators have been killed and 846 others injured in the Gaza Strip throughout the course of the ongoing Israeli aggression.
Further, the ministry said that 286 public schools and 65 affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Refugees (UNRWA) were bombed and vandalized in the Gaza Strip, which led to 111 of them being severely damaged and 40 completely destroyed. Also, 57 schools in the West Bank were stormed and vandalized, and 133 government schools were used.
The Ministry confirmed that 620,000 students in the Gaza Strip are still deprived of enrolling in their schools since the beginning of the aggression, while most of the students suffer from psychological trauma and face difficult health conditions.
