Over 451 Anti-Palestinian Incitement Posts in One Month: Who’s Behind Them?

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Sada Social Center has announced that it documented more than 451 official and media-driven Israeli incitement posts against Palestinians in February 2025 only. These posts came from settlers and supporters of the occupation state.

Incitement appeared on social media and news websites. The posts were in multiple languages, mainly Hebrew and English, with notable use of Spanish.

Telegram was the most used platform, hosting 41.5% of the incitement content. X (formerly Twitter) followed with 27.7%. Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp) accounted for 23.3%, while Hebrew media websites, research centers, and blogs contributed 7.1%.

Who Led the Incitement?

Settlers were the main source of incitement, responsible for 40.3% of the content. Israeli government officials followed with 22.3%. Supporters of the occupation state contributed 16.7%, while Israeli journalists were behind 14.0% of the incitement.

Most incitement posts (42.0%) focused on forced displacement and starvation in Gaza. This coincided with former U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan for Gaza’s forced displacement. Other themes included:
* Incitement for West Bank settlement expansion (27.0%)
* Praise for Israeli military assaults in the West Bank (16.7%)
* Incitement against released Palestinian detainees (5.7%)
* Attacks on UN institutions, especially UNRWA and the WHO (8.6%)

Key Figures Behind Incitement

Israeli ministers, Knesset members, diplomats, and military leaders played a major role in the incitement. Notable figures included:
* Ariel Kallner (Knesset member)
* Itamar Ben Gvir (Otzma Yehudit party leader)
* Smotrich (Israeli finance minister)
* Avigdor Lieberman (Knesset member)
* Danny Danon (Israeli ambassador to the UN)
* Eyal Zamir (Israeli army chief of staff)

Zamir began his incitement efforts before officially taking office in early March.

Several Israeli journalists also fueled hatred against Palestinians. Among them:
* Yehuda Schlesinger (Israel Hayom & Channel 14)
* Hillel Biton Rosen (Channel 14)
* Ohad Merlin (Jerusalem Post)
* Almog Boker (Channel 12)

Boker incited against humanitarian aid for Gaza.

The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) also spread incitement. The organization targeted UN institutions and promoted pro-Israel narratives, especially in U.S. digital spaces.
