Over 400 Palestinians arrested by Israeli forces in brutal raid in Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- At least 400 Palestinian worshipers were arrested by Israeli occupation forces during a brutal assault on Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque and Muslim worshipers last night.
According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ Affairs, Israeli forces arrested between 400-500 Palestinian men in last night’s brutal raid in Al-Aqsa Mosque which continued until Wednesday morning.
They are being held at an Israeli police station in Atarot in occupied Jerusalem.
The group later said that a large number of the arrested worshipers have been released today on the condition of being banned from entering the holy site for 7 days.
The Commission noted that dozens of the arrested were wounded in the assault and the injuries have included bruises, fractures, and suffocation from inhaling tear gas.
Last night, Israeli occupation forces brutally attacked dozens of Palestinian worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque before forcibly expelling them from the site while they were observing the holy month of Ramadan.
Hundreds of women, men, elderly people, and children were staying overnight to observe the I’tikaf at the al-Qibli prayer hall. The forces used stun grenades and fired tear gas and rubber-coated metal bullets into the prayer hall. They also beat worshipers with batons and riot guns, wounding dozens and arresting between 400-500 men.
