Over 29 civilians killed in intense Israeli airstrikes at central and southern Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network) – At least 29 civilians were killed today and others wounded in intense Israeli airstrikes that targeted the central and southern Gaza Strip, as the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza enters 127th day.

Medical sources reported that at least 25 civilians, mostly children and women, were killed and others injured when Israeli warplanes intensively launched airstrikes and artillery shelling on several homes in central and northern Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Simultaneously, Israeli gunboats intensively conducted a series of airstrikes targeting the coast of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of a fisherman and the injury of another.

Three civilians were reported killed due to an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle west of the city of Rafah.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has resulted in more than 27,947 confirmed fatalities. Additionally, over 67,300 people have been injured.

In the meantime, thousands of civilians are still under the rubble and on the roads, as the occupation forces are preventing ambulance and rescue crews from reaching them.
