Over 250 dead bodies found in Khan Yunis following Israeli withdrawal

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Following the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from Khan Yunis, Civil Defense teams and local residents have recovered approximately 300 bodies of victims killed by the Israeli military in Khan Yunis. Some of the deceased were injured and unable to receive medical assistance due to obstruction by the Israeli forces, leading to their deaths and the decomposition of their bodies.
In a statement released today, Tuesday, the Government Media Office reported that the occupation army withdrew from eastern Khan Yunis, leaving behind over 250 victims, 300 injured, and dozens of destroyed homes in a war crime and a crime against humanity.
As of Tuesday noon, eight days into the ground assault on eastern Khan Yunis, more than 300 citizens have been injured, and 31 individuals have been reported missing.
The Media Office highlighted that the Israeli forces bombed 31 inhabited homes, targeting them directly, and also attacked 320 other homes and residential buildings.
Over the past days, the Israeli army in eastern Khan Yunis have destroyed vital sectors and hindered dozens of coordination efforts to reach the injured and the victims during the assault.
The Government Media Office emphasized that the Israeli army violated international law regarding the right to life and the right to save lives, committing repeated crimes against humanity involving displacement and forced migration, endangering the lives of hundreds of thousands of civilians and putting them at risk of death.
The Office condemned the horrific massacres committed by Israel against civilians and the displaced in eastern Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, holding the occupation state of Israel and the American administration fully responsible for the continued massacres and the loss of hundreds of lives.
It called on international courts, the global community, and all free nations to pursue war criminals, demanding an immediate and urgent halt to these crimes and genocides.
In the latest statistics, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported that as of Tuesday, the number of victims has reached 39,400, with 90,996 injuries since October 7th, following three massacres committed by Israel against families.
