Over 250 academics and activists from 28 countries call to boycott ‘Israel’

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Over 250 academics and activists from all over the world have recently signed a statement in which they expressed their academic boycott of Israeli occupation.

The International Academic Campaign Against the Israeli Occupation and Apartheid issued a statement calling on academics and activists from all over the world to boycott ‘Israel’ academically, any participation in academic or media exchange programs with Israeli academics, and even Israeli airports.

The Campaign stated that over 250 academics and activists from 28 countries have signed the statement in solidarity with the Palestinian people:, including Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon, Iraq, Guatemala, South Africa, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Britain, Sweden, USA, Australia, Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Uganda, Mauritania, Belgium, Switzerland, Malaysia, Mexico, Turkey, and Russia.

Ramzi Odeh, Secretary General of the Campaign, welcomed the decision of academics and activists to boycott the Israeli occupation, stressing that the international academic campaign with all its members is committed to activating the academic boycott.
