Ongoing Israeli attacks on Gaza claim dozens of lives as the genocide enters day 86
Gaza (Quds News Network) – Numerous innocent civilians, including a significant number of children and women, were murdered over the last few house, while others sustained injuries, as a relentless series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling persisted across the Gaza Strip.
Today marks the 86th consecutive day of the ongoing Israeli genocide in the besieged region, backed by international support, primarily from the US President Joe Biden’s administration.
Over the past hours, Israeli bombardments targeted three mosques: Al-Muhajireen Mosque and Al-Sahaba Mosque in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, along with Al-Furqan Mosque in the city of Deir al-Balah, situated in central Gaza.

Tragically, casualties were reported as Israeli forces bombed the residences of the Qandeel and Abu Shahada families in the Al-Maghazi refugee camp. Additionally, Israeli airstrikes struck the premises of the Al-Salah Association in the camp.
In southern Gaza, east of Khan Yunis, an Israeli helicopter indiscriminately fired upon residential neighborhoods, while renewed artillery shelling affected the eastern areas of Bureij and Nuseirat refugee camps in central Gaza.
In the Nuseirat camp, a significant number of civilian casualties, both fatalities and wounded, were transported to Al-Awda Hospital due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes. Concurrently, a drone strike targeted the home of the Tahrawi family west of Rafah in southern Gaza.
An Israeli airstrike also targeted homes east of Deir al-Balah, causing further casualties among civilians. The Israeli artillery continued its shelling on Bureij, Nuseirat, and Al-Maghazi refugee camps in central Gaza, resulting in additional civilian casualties and widespread damage to public and private properties and infrastructure.

Yesterday evening, reports emerged of more than 25 civilians killed and numerous injuries in a wave of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting the Nuseirat and Al-Maghazi refugee camps, Al-Zawaida town in central Gaza, and Rafah in the south.
In a preliminary assessment, the ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza since October 7 has claimed the lives of at least 21,650 Palestinians, with a significant number being civilians, and resulted in approximately 56,000 injuries. Thousands are still missing, with 70% of the victims being children and women.
