Ongoing Israeli airstrikes claim dozens of lives in Gaza on day 101 of the genocide

Gaza (Quds News Network) – Dozens of innocent civilians have been killed and many others injured over the past hours as the Israeli occupation forces continued their shelling across various parts of the Gaza Strip, marking the 101st day of the ongoing war of genocide.

Medical sources reported the martyrdom of 33 civilians, including children and women, with dozens more wounded early on Monday due to the occupation’s bombardment of numerous homes in Gaza City.

Simultaneously, the city of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, as well as the refugee camps of Al-Bureij and Al-Maghazi in the central region, witnessed intensive Israeli artillery shelling.

For the fourth consecutive day, telecommunication and internet services remain completely severed in Gaza due to the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The communication sector, already suffering continuous targeting, has experienced over 80% destruction. Technical teams have been directly targeted and bombed despite prior coordination through international institutions.

This marks at least the seventh time that all communications have been cut off in Gaza since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023. The extensive damage to telecom lines, networks, and transmission towers, coupled with fuel shortages due to the blockade, has led to repeated disruptions, network pressure, and weakened transmission in various parts of the territory.

The disruption of communications and the internet accompanies an escalation in the massacres committed by occupation forces against innocent civilians in Gaza, hindering rescue and relief efforts.

In a preliminary toll, the number of people killed since the outbreak of the Israeli genocide campaign has risen to over 24,000, with over 60,317 injured, nearly 8,000 missing. The aggression has also resulted in extensive destruction of properties and infrastructure.
