One day before massive settlers’ raid throughout Jerusalem, ‘Israel’ declares high alert
Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The military analyst of Walla website, Amir Bohbot, said that the Israeli army has increased its forces in the West Bank and settlements near Gaza. He also added that ‘Israel’ declared high alert in fear of the resistance to retaliate against Jerusalem’s settlers’ raid.
Bohbot cited an Israeli military source as saying that they raised the state of preparedness for air defense systems.
According to the source, the Israelis expect to face protests throughout Palestine.
The Israeli Prime Minister made a phone call with the ministers of war and interior security regarding the settlers’ raid. They expressed fears over retaliation by the resistance in Gaza.
Al Qassam Brigades had warned Israelis of raiding Al Aqsa mosque, however, the Israeli government approved the settlers’ raid.
It also earned of any attacks against residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
“We are closely observing what is happening in Jerusalem and Al Aqsa mosque of provocative and aggressive actions by the occupiers”, Abu Obaida said.
