Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Large numbers of Jewish settlers Monday stormed the courtyards of Al Aqsa mosque.

QNN correspondent said that more than four groups of settlers stormed the holy mosque through the Magharbeh gate on the first day of Hanukkah.

The Israeli police secured the raids, providing escort by armed special forces and carrying out several arrests against Muslim worshipers.

Further settlers are expected to storm the holy mosque during the next few hours.
