Ofer jail on high alert following protests by prisoners

Ramallah (QNN)- The Palestinian Prisoners Association said that Ofer jail has been on high alert, as the IPS recalled the repression unit to attack the prisoners, who started chanting Takbir and knocking on the doors.

The association added that the prisoners have been protesting a series of Israeli punitive measures that have been recently implemented, including the repression of prisoners in section 16.

The association held the Israeli Prison Service(IPS) responsible for the lives of the prisoners in Ofer jail and warned of mass repression that the Israelis may carry out.
