Occupied Jerusalem reopens for Jews only following COVID-19 restrictions

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli forces on Monday prevented Palestinians from reopening their shops in the old city of Jerusalem despite the reopening of the city for Jews following COVID-19 restrictions.

The Israeli police carried out inspection tours in the old city of Jerusalem and forced Palestinian owners of closing their shops.

The Chairman of Jerusalem’s Trade Committee Hijazi Risheq said Israeli forces threatened the shops’ owners to impose 10,000 NIS fines on them, although the city was reopened yesterday. He added that the Israeli racist decision aims at harming native Palestinians.
