“North Gaza is being wiped out”: Residents pleads for help as Israel intensifies attacks

Gaza (Quds News Network)- North Gazans have pleaded for help as Israeli forces launched a renewed aerial and ground assault in northern Gaza, laying siege to residential areas and leaving 400,000 civilians trapped there for nine consecutive days, warning that the area is being “wiped out.”

Terrified Palestinians attempting to flee have also been shot at, according to local residents and journalists.

Mahmoud Basal, a spokesman for the Palestinian Civil Defense, said nearly 200,000 Palestinians currently under Israeli siege in Jabalia camp are facing imminent death from Israeli airstrikes or from hunger and thirst due to the ongoing land blockade imposed by the Israeli army.

According to the UN, at least 400,000 Palestinians are trapped in northern Gaza.

Gaza’s Government Media Office announced on Sunday that at least 300 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the siege on Jabalia camp on October 5.
