New Video of American-Israeli Soldier Prisoner Idan Alexander Released Addressing Netanyahu and Trump

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, released a video of American-Israeli soldier prisoner Idan Alexander, held prisoner for over 420 days. In the footage, Alexander criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and appealed to US President-elect Donald Trump to act swiftly for his release.

Message to Netanyahu: “You Neglected Us”

Visibly distressed, Alexander stated that Netanyahu is abandoning Israeli prisoners.
“I saw you on the news, and it broke my heart,” he said. “You spoke about offering $5 million for anyone who brings us back alive. But what about protecting us as your citizens and soldiers? You abandoned us.”

He described living in constant fear. “We die a thousand times every day, and no one feels our pain,” Alexander said.

He urged the Israeli public to protest daily and demand action. “Don’t forget us. We want to return home with our sanity. Fear and isolation are killing us. End this nightmare.”

Plea to Trump: “Use Your Influence”

Alexander appealed to Trump as an American citizen.
“I’ve always believed in the power of the United States,” he said. “Please use your influence and negotiate our freedom. Every day here feels endless, and the pain only grows.”

He criticized US policies under President Joe Biden, stressing that American weapons were used against Israeli prisoners.
“Don’t repeat Biden’s mistakes. The weapons he sent are killing us, and the siege is starving us. I don’t want to die like Hersh.” He referred to Hersh Goldberg, another American-Israeli reportedly killed recently by Israel.

Who is Idan Alexander?

Alexander, an American “lone soldier” with no immediate family in Israel, joined the Israeli military out of his zionist ideology. He was captured during the October 7, 2023, Hamas-led “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation. His parents have accused Netanyahu of mishandling the prisoner crisis.

His mother said that she had received signs confirming he is alive. She explained that one of the female prisoners released by Al-Qassam Brigades told her that she had met him in the same room. He had mentioned that he came from the United States to serve in the occupation army. He asked his captors for water, and they unshackled him and allowed him to drink before they were separated.

This video follows earlier September recordings of six Israeli prisoners criticizing the government. As public protests grow in Israel and international attention intensifies, Alexander’s video adds pressure on Israeli and US leaders to negotiate the prisoners’ release.
